Bow Hunting in Australia

Archery is the skill of using a bow and arrows to shoot and hit a target. Archery dates back to ancient times when it was a craft used for hunting and warfare. These days, it’s a sought after sport involving accuracy, skill and precision.

Even if you are unfamiliar with bow hunting in Australia, it’s a simple concept to understand. A bow is a flexible, arc-shaped instruments that shoots aerodynamic projectiles called arrows. A string is drawn taught between the two ends of the bow and is drawn back when operated. When released, the energy from the tension in the string shoots the sharpened arrow forward.

Bow hunting is quite common in Australia, as archery has been practiced for thousands of years. Long before gunpowder and guns were invented, hunters used bows and arrows to catch their prey. Some remote civilisations still follow this practice. Bow hunting is alive and thriving in Australia, and it would make a perfect choice as an option for your hunting adventure.

We believe in the balance conservation hunting provides. Farm stock and native endangered species are in a continuous battle for survival against the feral animal plague that is crippeling Australia.
