Hermidale Hunting Property is located approx. 20kms from Hermidale and 70kms from Nyngan in New South Wales Australia.
You don’t need a 4WD to get to the property, but to access all areas of the property you will.
Bikes, quads and buggys allowed. But absolutely no pets.
Game normally found on the property are Pigs, Goats, Rabbits and Hare.
A range of hunting options are allowed including Bow Hunting, Shooting, Spotlighting and Trapping.
Great accommodation exists 20km from the property with private rooms with linen supplied, bar fridge and commercial bathroom and kitchen.
Telstra mobile phone service is minimal on the farm, but full service is available at the accommodation.
Fire wood is available, and fires are permitted in fire season.
You can sight your firearms and target shoot at your campsite, of course observing all safety precautions.
Average summer temperatures around 38 degrees and 25 degrees in winter, with an annual rainfall of about 400mls.
Anytime of the year is a good time to book this property.
The best time to arrive on the property is 8am or after. There is no specific UHF/CB channel use don the property. Rules on the property are simple – follow and read the conditions for property access book. And please sue your common sense – leave gates closed, no shooting at or near farm, be respectful of property boundaries, and absolutely no dogs of any kind are to be brought onto the property. Take all rubbish with you to the designated area, obey any fire restrictions especially total fire bans, and do not consume alcohol whilst using firearms.
The property is lightly undulating with some cleared country, varying from light timber to heavy scrub country. There are 3 dams on the property as well as some stock.
Most visitors enjoy the variety of wildlife on the property and its outback, remote landscapes.
Hunters love the availability of pigs and goats.
There is a local hotel next door to the accommodation in Hermidale (20kms from property) where they serve meals and fuel is available 24hrs. The hotel is open 10am and closes after 10pm.

All Doggers on dogging approved properties need to be a member of the APDHA
For non-hunters attending with hunters on properties, although not compulsory, we do suggest and recommend joining the Shooters Union.
We also recommend current ambulance cover.

Some properties only allow certain types of vehicles. Please check listing carefully.
Helmet and protective gear to be worn whenever operating these vehicles.
We recommend the Yassi Course or some form of accredited training be taken prior to using any bikes, quads/ATV or buggy’s on the property.
Bikes, buggy’s and Quads/ATV are to be taken onto properties entirely at your own risk.
No responsibility will be taken. Assess your own insurance for these recreational vehicles.
You release and indemnify IHP and all related parties against any claim of any kind whatsoever.
