This 5,026 acre freehold property in the tightly held Blackwater area carries a good body of grasses and native grasses in creek areas. Areas of the property have previously been farmed. There are 2 good dams and further water includes a seasonal dam plus seasonal waterholes along Blackwater Creek.

The accommodation is a very liveable 2-bedroom house with double bed, double/single bunk, single beds and mattresses – sleeping 6 comfortably. There is also a lounge room, toilet, shower, power, fridge, new stove, kettle, toaster, plates, cups, and limited utensils. You will need to bring all linen, food and fuel.
Property Owners Rules
Rules on the property are simple – follow and read the conditions for property access book. Common Sense – leave gates as found, no shooting at or anywhere near grazing cattle, or on ridgelines, respecting property boundaries, avoid driving on near crops and gardens. Hunt respectfully. Take all rubbish with you to the designated area, obey any fire restrictions especially total fire bans. No hooning vehicles.

Property History and Information
Blackwater #1 in central QLD is a mining town with several coal mines close to town (BMA, Curragh & Jillenbah). The properties accommodations are great for families and groups of friends and visitors really enjoy how good the roads are and that there are toilets and showers available.
When the family comes along with hunters, they can relax and swim, picnic, read, or use the surroundings as inspiration for art or photography. You can also enjoy the serenity and wildlife to be spotted. Plenty of bushwalking, birdwatching and camp-like activities to be enjoyed!
The owners are also up for a chat with hunters and families.
Tourist Attractions
This property is less than 10kms from Blackwater township with plenty of basic services and things to do, plus the beautiful tourist spot of Blackwater Tableland National Park with gorges and walking trails. Bedford Weir is a great spot of water-skiing and swimming and Blackwater International Coal Centre in the area is also visitor friendly with an information station, coal mining museum, cinema and café.

Blackwater services and supplies can be found 7.5kms away including Woolworths, Subway, Pizza Hut, Coffee Shop, Bakery (5-5pm), McDonalds, 2 hotels (10-10pm), plus great meals at the local Country Club. You can also source Ag supplies and bullets and fuel there. Caltex Fuel is 24hrs.
It is recommended visitors come well equipped and bring insect repellent and sunscreen in summer.

This is a non-negotiable requirement and forms part of your booking contract. Similar to having travel insurance to go on holidays. This insurance is available by being a current member of an AHO, the SSAA or the Shooters Union before your booking is approved.
