Property History and Information

Blackwater #1 in central QLD is a mining town with several coal mines close to town (BMA, Curragh & Jillenbah). The properties accommodations are great for families and groups of friends and visitors really enjoy how good the roads are and that there are toilets and showers available.

When the family comes along with hunters, they can relax and swim, picnic, read, or use the surroundings as inspiration for art or photography. You can also enjoy the serenity and wildlife to be spotted. Plenty of bushwalking, birdwatching and camp-like activities to be enjoyed!

The owners are also up for a chat with hunters and families.

Tourist Attractions

This property is less than 10kms from Blackwater township with plenty of basic services and things to do, plus the beautiful tourist spot of Blackwater Tableland National Park with gorges and walking trails. Bedford Weir is a great spot of water-skiing and swimming and Blackwater International Coal Centre in the area is also visitor friendly with an information station, coal mining museum, cinema and café.

Additional Supplies

Blackwater services and supplies can be found 7.5kms away including Woolworths, Subway, Pizza Hut, Coffee Shop, Bakery (5-5pm), McDonalds, 2 hotels (10-10pm), plus great meals at the local Country Club. You can also source Ag supplies and bullets and fuel there. Caltex Fuel is 24hrs.
