Mitchell Hunting Property Highlights
Mitchell 9 Hunting property is located approx 135Kms from Mitchell and 120Kms from St. George. The propery has been in the family for around 5 years. The property is gently undulating countryside with access and travel around the property preferrably by four wheel drive.
Camping is available only at the designated site.
There is no mobile phone reception at all on the property.
Plenty of firewood for your fire so feel free to collect yourself. The property owner asks campfires only to be lit within campsite area.
You will need to bring all your own equipment, camping gear - everything. Nothing is included.
Average daytime temeratures are 35 - 40 degrees in the summer and 20 - 30 degrees in the winter.
The property is available to be booked all throughout the year.
The property owner hates rubbish being left around - so as on all our properties we ask you to take all your rubbish with you.
As a rule of the land - always leave gates as you find them. We cannot stress this enough.
Mitchell Hunting Accommodation
But the accommodation has:
- Ceiling fans in all rooms
- Bar heater in lounge room
- All wooden floors with carpet mat in lounge room
- Pots and pans, all cutlery and crockery
- 2 bedrooms with 4 single beds and a queen bed
- We supply all bedding, eg sheets, blankets and pillows.
- Portable air conditioner (lounge room only)
- No heating
- Bathroom on veranda with shower, basin and toilet
- Stove, kettle, toaster, fridge, dinning table and chairs
- BBQ
- Washing machine
- TV with antenna
The property owner is also looking into getting a gas bbq for veranda but may not be available when you book.
Really it’s nothing flash, just a bit better than camping.

PROPERTY ACCESS
For access to any of our properties, all Shooters, Non-shooters and Bow Hunters require current membership of one of the following:
All Doggers on dogging approved properties need to be a member of the APDHA ($120 for family membership)
For each non-hunter attending any of our properties, it is compulsory to be covered by current comprehensive public liability insurance. This is a non-negotiable requirement and forms part of your booking contract. Similar to having travel insurance to go on holidays. This insurance is available by being a current member of an AHO, the SSAA before your booking is approved.
We also recommend current ambulance cover.
You enter these properties fully aware of the risks involved and do so at your own risk.
IHP, property owners and all related and unrelated parties are not held liable for any claim, accident or injury.
In other words, take responsibility for your own actions, watch what you are doing and ACT LIKE AN ADULT WITH COMMON SENSE.

BRINGING BIKES, BUGGY's or QUADS/ATVs?
RIDERS READ BELOW:
Risk assessments must be taken for potential hazards whilst using any bikes, quads/ATV or buggy's on the property.
Some properties only allow certain types of vehicles. Please check listing carefully.
Helmet and protective gear to be worn whenever operating these vehicles.
We recommend the Yassi Course or some form of accredited training be taken prior to using any bikes, quads/ATV or buggy’s on the property.
Bikes, buggy’s and Quads/ATV are to be taken onto properties entirely at your own risk.
No responsibility will be taken. Assess your own insurance for these recreational vehicles.
You release and indemnify IHP and all related parties against any claim of any kind whatsoever.
If in doubt or you do not agree to or understand these terms, do not bring and or ride bikes, buggy's or quad/ATV.
