Charlieville #3 is a 40,000 acre property offering a vast terrain where pigs, wild dogs, rabbits, foxes, and feral cats can be found. Telstra mobile phone reception is available on some parts of the property.
Charlieville #3 is a beautiful property with a lot of different things to see. The property is lucky enough to have open areas and grass areas but also jumps up and rydges with beautiful views.
Enjoy the large area this property provides with plenty of waterways that attract game.
There are a number of creeks running through the property, though they do dry up. There is always dams and turkeys nest to take a dip in.
Terrain
The property is gently undulating, some scrubby areas, ridges and areas of cropping. You willnot require a 4WD to access the property, but you will need a 4WD to get around this vast property.
Temperature and Rainfall
Rainfall has been sparse but averages 18 inches a year. Temps range from -4-45 degrees with an average of 28 degrees in Summer.
Facilities
Camping - so bring everything including food and water. The bore water is safe to drink, so you are welcome to use that too.
Best Time to Book
The best time to book is all year, but even better in Summer and Spring with the nicest weather but welcome anytime.
Average rainfall 21 inches spread throughout the year.
Visitors can arrive and depart between 7am and 5pm with respect and as long as the property owners are informed.
Property Owners Rules
Rules on the property are simple – please respect and read the conditions for property access book. Common Sense – leave gates as found, no shooting at or around stock, or on ridgelines, respecting property boundaries, avoid driving on crops.
Dont shoot near the house or cattle yards.
Be mindful of driving close to or spooking stock and do not shoot anywhere near main house or owners’ pets. Hunt respectfully and no hunting and drinking. Take all rubbish with you to the designated area and do not litter throughout property. Obey any fire restrictions especially total fire bans.
Take only memories and leave only footprints!
Sighting in of firearms are permitted, however the property owner requests that you do not put your targets on large living trees.

The property has been in the family for over 35 years. The next generations are taking it over to keep it in the family for as long as possible.

For each non-hunter attending any of our properties, it is compulsory to be covered by current comprehensive public liability insurance. This is a non-negotiable requirement and forms part of your booking contract. Similar to having travel insurance to go on holidays. This insurance is available by being a current member of an AHO, the SSAA or the Shooters Union before your booking is approved.
