Like all country regions, our weather can be changeable and unpredictable, sometimes offering four seasons in one day. We advise you bring a jacket year round and an extra jumper in Winter!
Bring the Whole Family
Wives and children can choose to relax at the camping grounds and read a book, wander at their leisure through the bush or photograph the abundant wildlife and natural scenery.
Safety Warnings and Rules
Ensure you hunt well away from people, livestock, buildings and crops. We do not tolerate the shooting of signs, yards and other infrastructure.
Gates are to be left as they are found. This is extremely important as livestock are run across the property.
Electric fences may be active on the property perimeters.
Hunters must respect the natural environment and leave the property as they found it, taking all rubbish with them. Quality habitat is the key to a healthy population of game and other wildlife.
It is important for all hunters to understand the concept and principles of ethical hunting, and practice them when in the field. Ethical hunting means that a person knows and respects the game hunted, follows the law and behaves in the right social manner.
Children must be supervised at all times, particularly when near the water.
Pots, utensils, crockery and cutlery are supplied in the kitchen, however must be cleaned and put back immediately after use.
Fishing is strictly catch and release only.
Unfortunately no dogs are permitted due to livestock on the property and baiting for wild dogs.
There are an abundance of kangaroos at dusk and dawn so please drive carefully.
All Doggers on dogging approved properties need to be a member of the APDHA
For each non-hunter attending any of our properties, it is compulsory to be covered by current comprehensive public liability insurance. This is a non-negotiable requirement and forms part of your booking contract. Similar to having travel insurance to go on holidays. This insurance is available by being a current member of an AHO, the SSAA or the Shooters Union before your booking is approved.
You enter these properties fully aware of the risks involved and do so at your own risk. IHP, property owners and all related and unrelated parties are not held liable for any claim, accident or injury.
In other words, take responsibility for your own actions, watch what you are doing and ACT LIKE AN ADULT WITH COMMON SENSE.
Its easy! Just let us know what you want to do - where, and when, you want to go, and we'll organise the property and camping / accommodation for your next hunting adventure. More info here

Hunters
We believe in the balance conservation hunting provides. Farm stock and native endangered species are in a continuous battle for survival against the feral animal plague that is crippeling Australia.
