This Warrumbungle #1 Hunting Property has mountains on the west. Running valleys that you can ride quads/ buggies up valleys that run onto open farming and old grazing country. 
Unspoiled views of the Warrumbungles National Park.

Undulating to mountainous.

What are the best arrival and departure times?

Daylight hours by prior arrangement.

Camping only.

Is mobile service available on your property & which carrier?

Yes - Telstra. 

Do we need to bring firewood or is this available around the property?

Lots of firewood available on the property to collect. Obey all local fire warnings including total fire bans.   

Can we sight our firearms in at site? Do you allow target shooting?

Please sight in your firearms well away from huts. Target shooting is also allowed. 

What do we need to bring?

Everything you need to camp. First aid kit. 

What are the average temperature/ rainfall ranges for each season?

Summer 32 Degrees. Autumn 25 Degrees. Winter 15 - 20 Degrees. Spring 25 Degrees. 
Average rainfall Per year is 28 Inches.

Property recently purchased by 7th generation farmer. 

What do visitors most like about the property?

The views and secluded feeling without having travel far to arrive. 

What do hunters most like about the property?

Opportunity to hunt the abundance of pigs coming out of the National Park. Hunters like using their real hunting skills walking and scoping the hills for game. 

When wives and children come along, what activities can they do?

Walks / rides. Warrumbungle National Park and Observeratory Lookout is 10Kms away. 

Are there any pet horses, goats, ducks, geese, birds etc that you show guest’s or they can feed?

No

Do the owners like to have a chat to guest’s or do they just like to keep to themselves?

Additional Supplies

Coonabarabran, Gilgandra and Baradine. Usually 9 - 8. Gilgandra 24 Hours but call ahead to check. 
Coffee shops, giftware, rural supplies and ammunition.

PROPERTY ACCESS

For access to any of our properties, all Shooters, Non-shooters and Bow Hunters require current membership of one of the following:

• SSAA
• Shooters Union
• An Approved Hunting Organisation (AHO)

All Doggers on dogging approved properties need to be a member of the APDHA

For each non-hunter attending any of our properties, it is compulsory to be covered by current comprehensive public liability insurance. This is a non-negotiable requirement and forms part of your booking contract. Similar to having travel insurance to go on holidays. This insurance is available by being a current member of an AHO, the SSAA or the Shooters Union before your booking is approved.

We also recommend current ambulance cover.

You enter these properties fully aware of the risks involved and do so at your own risk.
IHP, property owners and all related and unrelated parties are not held liable for any claim, accident or injury.

In other words, take responsibility for your own actions, watch what you are doing and ACT LIKE AN ADULT WITH COMMON SENSE.

BRINGING BIKES, BUGGY's or QUADS/ATVs?

RIDERS READ BELOW:

Risk assessments must be taken for potential hazards whilst using any bikes, quads/ATV or buggy's on the property.

Some properties only allow certain types of vehicles. Please check listing carefully.
Helmet and protective gear to be worn whenever operating these vehicles.

We recommend the Yassi Course or some form of accredited training be taken prior to using any bikes, quads/ATV or buggy’s on the property.

 

Bikes, buggy’s and Quads/ATV are to be taken onto properties entirely at your own risk.

No responsibility will be taken. Assess your own insurance for these recreational vehicles.

You release and indemnify IHP and all related parties against any claim of any kind whatsoever.

If in doubt or you do not agree to or understand these terms, do not bring and or ride bikes, buggy's or quad/ATV.
