>> Inglewood #2 Hunting Property

The property is 2700 acres in size, so there is a large variety of hunting terrain available which gives you the opportunity to choose where you would like to hunt for game.

There is a combination of flat and hilly terrain, open grasslands, scrub, hills, mountains, a decent size forest, as well as semi-dry and flowing creeks. All the land on the property is accessible by car, motorbikes/quadbikes, or 4WD.

This a beautiful property with picturesque views in every direction, and with almost 2700 acres of accessible land available with a large variety of terrain there is a lot of opportunity on this property for hunters to have a very succesful hunting expedition and most importantly, alot of fun.

There is a hill about 5 minutes drive from the house which offers spectacular views to the North, South, East and West, including the nearby Coolumunda Dam, and this might be a perfect opportunity for hunters to scope out some good hunting locations, or to set up a few chairs and eat lunch.

Hunters families can sit back and take in the abundant native wildlife that wander across the open grasslands and amongst the fruit trees, including kangaroos, emu, rabbits and birdlife. There are many opportunities for families to explore the local bushlands via foot or they can bring motorbikes, buggies or quadbikes and venture out to see any of the 10 dams on the property, and maybe even do some yabbie pumping!

What do visitors most like about the property?

It is a very well-maintained property with stunning views in every direction, and is always kept very clean and tidy.

It is isolated yet very close to town centres (less than 30km to Inglewood and less than 100km to Warwick) so if they are ever in need of some last minute necessities, local shops are not too far away, as well as cafes and restaurants.

There is a lot of tracks available for motorbike or quad bike driving as well, so there is a lot of fun to be had.

What do hunters most like about the property?

There is a mix of everything, it is very difficult to find another property with such a large variety of game and terrain. Hunters also like that they have the opportunity to fish in the Coolumunda dam in between hunting expeditions.

When wives and children come along, what activities can they do?

Wives and children can relax, go fishing or swimming in the Coolumunda dam, drive motorbikes around the property, or enjoy the large variety of wildlife around the property (there are plenty of kangaroos, native birds, emus on the property). A cafe is located only a 5minute drive from the property as well which offers local coffee and breakfast/lunch. Otherwise, Inglewood township is less than 30km away.

Are there any pet horses, goats, ducks, geese, birds etc that you show guest’s or they can feed?

Yes, we have birds and goats. We also have 2 friendly dogs on the property, but if you would like to bring your own dogs and are not comfortable with ours being around we are happy to keep ours in our big shed.

Do the owners like to have a chat to guest’s or do they just like to keep to themselves?

During your stay the host will be available to help you with any questions regarding the best locations to hunt certain game, or anything else you may need. Otherwise we are happy to keep out of your hair.

Additional Supplies

Oman Ama has a BP and prices are always 10 to 20c cheaper than other townships. This is located on the way from Warwick to the farm (maybe 30km from the property). Otherwise, all other basic supplies can be purchased in Inglewood or Warwick.

Hunters

We believe in the balance conservation hunting provides. Farm stock and native endangered species are in a continuous battle for survival against the feral animal plague that is crippeling Australia.
