There is plenty of firewood in the surrounding arear for campers to gather for cooking or campfires. However, visitors must bring all their own required hunting and camping gear.

Hunters can sight their firearms or bows and arrows within safe sites and they may also do target shooting. All safety precautions and other guidelines must be followed. It is important that visitors should always keep a safe distance from grazing cattle, sheep, and goats.

Telstra phone service is available in the area; however, it is patchy.

The beautiful scenic landscapes for exploring and photographing are two of the best attractions for visiting this property. The vast area is also perfect for riding motorbikes, quads, Polaris, and buggies.

Spotlighting at night can also be a breath-taking adventure, as well as dog or pet walking. Petting young calves, lambs, and goats will also provide some great memories for the kids. Hunters will love the opportunity to capture a wild goat trophy, or possibly a wild pig, goat or hare.

Property History and Information

The property owners purchased this property around 2012 and decided initially to graze cattle, sheep, and goats. They have been delighted with the beauty of this blissful property and want to share it for visitors to enjoy too, with the freedom to explore and hunt. Hunting will also help balance the ecosystem and reduce pest numbers.

Visitors are welcome to find out more about the property by getting in touch with the owners for a chat.

Tourist Attractions

This property is very close to several tourist attractions in Quilpie. One of the must-visit-places is the Cooper - a large dinosaur museum. Visitors will also have fun fossicking for opals. There are also scenic ranges nearby, as well as national parks with interesting gorges to explore. Visitors can take a trip to the lake in summer for jet skiing too.

Hunters

We believe in the balance conservation hunting provides. Farm stock and native endangered species are in a continuous battle for survival against the feral animal plague that is crippeling Australia.
